Elderly couple give virgins lessons in how to have sex in new US reality show

A group of virgins are learning about sex in a very public way with a new US TV show employing elderly people to give them a lesson on the basics of lovemaking.

Called Virgin Coaches, the show centres on Bill and Janean Fuller as they guide couples who are saving themselves for marriage through a sex retreat.

Clips from the show which aired in the US last night show the Fuller's example of what they describe as the closest thing to "making love" without actually "doing it".

The journey requires couples to follow a blue and white circular maze to its centre, where the man then washes his woman's feet.

The Fuller's also attempt to describe penis size to the uninitiated males by using props such as bananas, zucchinis and cucumbers and asking them to pick one that correlates to their, ahem, size.

Despite the awkwardness of the situation, the couples seem receptive and genuinely interested in what the love gurus have to offer.

The Fuller's end their lesson with their advice on how to have the best sex possible: "We always say that eyes open sex is God sex".
