Dubai skyscraper engulfed in flames

A fire has broken out in one of the world’s tallest residential buildings.

Footage has emerged of a large fire in the Marina Torch tower at the Dubai Mariner.

The blaze started on the 50^th floor and is spreading, the Gulf News reports.

Thousands of people have reportedly been evacuated as flaming debris falls from the building.

The tower reaches 336.1m in height with 79 floors above ground.
