A drinking session in Williamsburg, New York ended with a man dressed in a taco suit careening down a bridge and smashing into a moving car.

Ben Wilkes and human taco Jon Newport had been drinking when they decided they would promote the happy hour of local bar Baby’s All Right.

A production manager by trade, Wilkes filmed Newport speeding down a pedestrian bridge towards a nearby street.

Wilkes told the Animal that any concerns about Newport’s increasing speed down the walkway were allayed as he reasoned, “He was a professional skateboarder when he was 16, he knows what he’s doing.”

But Newport said that he couldn’t see anything with extra toppings on the costume obscuring his vision as he left the ramp.

Despite smashing into the car he only suffered a cut hand and a broken skateboard.

The driver was also fine although was reportedly shocked at being hit by a human taco.

Asked if he would have crashed had he not been drinking Newport said, “I wouldn’t have put that suit on if I had not been drinking.”

He added, “It worked out great, I can’t wait to do it again.”
