'Not good timing for me': Trump may skip son's wedding
US President Donald Trump has revealed he may not attend his eldest son's wedding this weekend because it's just "not good timing".
Donald Trump Jr, 48, is set to wed model and socialite Bettina Anderson, 39, on a private island in the Bahamas over the Memorial Day long weekend in the US.
The timing of their nuptials has caused problems for the groom's father, who told reporters today that he hasn't decided if he'll attend.

"He'd like me to go, but it's going to be just a small little private affair. I'm going to try and make it," Trump said.
"I'm in the midst – I said, 'You know, this is not good timing for me'. I have a thing called Iran and other things."
The US has been involved with the war in Iran since February, when it launched Operation Epic Fury.
There is currently a ceasefire in place but Trump claimed he'd be lambasted by the media if he stepped away for his son's wedding while the conflict is ongoing.

He said he'd also be criticised if he missed the nuptials.
"That's one I can't win on," he told reporters in the Oval Office.
"If I do attend, I get killed, if I don't attend, I get killed – by the fake news, of course, I'm talking about."
It would be an expensive and logistically challenging undertaking if the president did decide to attend Trump Jr's wedding this weekend.
The security requirements would be significant but not unfeasible.
Trump has travelled from Washington to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida at least 28 times since taking office in January 2025.
He also regularly visits his New Jersey private golf club for weekends away.

This will be Trump Jr's second marriage.
He wed Vanessa Haydon at Mar-a-Lago in 2005, and they welcomed five children together before splitting in 2018.
In 2020, he became engaged to former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, who had previously been married to Gavin Newsom, California's Democratic governor.
The engagement ended in 2024.
Trump Jr was first linked to Anderson the same year.

They got engaged last December.
"He [Trump Jr] has a got a very – a person who I've known for a long time," Trump said of his son's wife-to-be.
"And hopefully, they're going to have a great marriage."
