A tourist punched a Disney World worker in the face and started pushing buttons on the Tower of Terror control panel after she was told her pass would not let her jump the queue for the ride.

The 23-year-old woman became verbally aggressive shortly before 9pm on July 13 after she was told her FastPass – which allows visitors to join a shorter queue if they pay extra – was not valid for the Tower, the Orange County sheriff’s office said.

After security was called to remove the visitor, she flew into a rage and began mashing buttons which “could affect the ride” on the control panel, the report said.

The Disney World employee asked the visitor to stop and pushed her hand away from the buttons. The visitor responded by punching the worker in the face, the sheriff’s report said.

The visitor tried to run away after the attack, but was caught by security. She has been banned from Disney World or life.

“We don’t tolerate unsafe behaviour,” a spokesperson for Disney World told Fox News.

The Disney World employee had minor swelling of her eye, but chose not to press charges.
