Diabolical feline shows why it doesn’t really need to use the cat flap

One very nonchalant cat has demonstrated what we all already knew – felines don’t need us.

A video of the cat using a cat flap but also demonstrating it is perfectly capable of using a door was posted to the YouTube page of Canadian owner S Hale on October 13, where it has already been viewed more than 8,200 times.

The video, titled “Because he can”, begins by showing a closed door with a cat flap installed.

The handle turns and the apparent culprit, a cat, appears through the gap in the door, in an evident snub of man-made obstacles.

Then – in the ultimate show of feline disdain – the cat strides casually through the cat flap.

YouTube users have saluted the cat’s ability to defy the odds.

“This needs to be remixed into a thug life video,” YouTube user darkshines114 suggested.
