Anybody carrying a deep curiosity about life's end will find more than enough to satisfy them in a new "death simulator" opening soon in China.

CNN has reported "Samadhi - 4D Experience of Death" will open in Shanghai next month.

Founders Ding Rui and Huang Wei-ping have designed a series of challenges for participants to complete to avoid "dying".

Those who fail - and even the winner, afterwards - will be subjected to a faux cremation, where light effects and heated air will create what the duo called an "authentic" experience of burning.

Following the ordeal, participants are then reborn into a fake womb.

The designers created the game after experiencing something similar at a real crematorium, where they convinced the operator to give them a temporary ride into the furnace.

Mr Huang described the uncomfortable experience, saying: "I couldn't breathe and I thought my life was over."

However, the pair have maintained the ride’s realistic experience will push people into about life and death.
