Cyclist cheats death after being run over by lorry in China

The cyclist was struck from behind by the semi-trailer and then disappeared under the truck's cabin to what seemed like his certain doom.

Yet even though the entire length of the truck passed over him, the cyclist somehow managed to avoid all 14 wheels and escaped with just minor bruising.

CCTV footage, obtained by British TV network ITN, showed the truck running down the cyclist as it turned through a pedestrian crossing at a busy junction in China's eastern city of Ningbo, in Zhejiang province.

After the vehicle drove over him, the dazed rider can be seen sitting up in the middle of the road.

The driver reportedly did not stop.
