Croatian cop brutally arrests elderly woman for jaywalking

 A policeman has filmed himself throwing an elderly woman to the ground in a brutal arresting for jaywalking in Croatia.

The 66-year-old woman was allegedly spotted by the policeman crossing a road in Osijek on Wednesday without waiting for a green light.

The policeman follows her down the street while demanding for her identification, but she ignores him until the policeman grabs her by the shoulder, causing her to lash out.

She tries to escape as the policeman roughly grabs the woman’s wrist and wrestles her to the ground with her arms pinned.

A group of policemen arrive as the elderly woman is hauled into the back of a police car and cries out in pain.

The lady was charged with a misdemeanour for jaywalking and failing to identify herself to police.

It is unknown if the policeman will face an investigation for the heavy-handed arrest.
