Cow plummets through shed roof in bold bid for freedom

A lucky cow survived falling through a roof after attempting a dramatic escape from a health check facility in Osmaniye, Turkey on Tuesday.

Footage shows the usually docile farmyard animal clambering up a flight of stairs, walking along a two-storey roof before crashing to the ground and incredibly landing safely on all four legs.

The cow was at facility for a routine health check-up, Haberler reports.

Workers watch on in disbelief as the large black and white cow walks gingerly across a high tiled roof, leaps down onto a lower level corrugated iron shed and plummets to the ground.

Expecting disaster, the men discover the cow casually wandering around inside the building, having stuck a very difficult landing.

The cow is reportedly safe and well and has re-joined the herd.
