Club with $44k membership offering 'luxury' COVID-19 vaccine trips

An elite UK travel club with a £25,000 ($44,054) membership fee is offering coronavirus vaccine travel packages.

Knightsbridge Circle, founded in 2012, advertises itself as an "exclusive travel and lifestyle service".

Now, it's offering members the chance to get the COVID-19 vaccine in the United Arab Emirates and India, while enjoying a luxury holiday.

"It's like we're the pioneers of this new luxury travel vaccine program," founder Stuart McNeill told The Telegraph.

"You go for a few weeks to a villa in the sunshine, get your jabs and your certificate and you're ready to go."

India is offering the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine, while Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE will have the Pfizer vaccine.

However, Mr McNeill said the offer was only available to people aged over 65 - and that some members had been able to use it to make sure their parents got the jab instead.

"If you're a 35-year-old young chap who goes to the gym twice a day, you've got no chance of getting the vaccine through us," he said.
