This is the video that got a police officer fired.

Dashcam footage from Texas officer Les Richardson’s patrol car shows him being frantically waved down by a woman pleading for help to which he simply replies, “What, baby? I’m on a call,” and drives off.

The woman had flagged Richardson down after her two children were kidnapped at gunpoint in Dallas on August 25.

Richardson, 61, a veteran police officer of 28 years, was responding to a burglary call when radio dispatchers announced a gunman had fired shots and rammed a woman’s car in the area.

He then drove past the woman, who yelled at him, “That’s him, that’s him, right there.”

“Right here what, baby? I’m on a call,” Richardson replied, before speeding off.

The video, released yesterday, also shows the officer smoking in his patrol car.

The woman was referring to her ex-partner Steven Douglas , who had rammed her car and taken her two children from her at gunpoint.

Police eventually tracked down Douglas hours later, with the gunman leading officers on a car chase.

Douglas crashed his car and tried to flee on foot. He was shot dead after pointing his gun at an officer.

The children were with a family member and not harmed.
