Some daring zookeepers have been filmed trying to stop a fight between two large male Kangaroos in a Chinese zoo.

The roos are seen squaring off at each other as they stand nearly six feet tall, raising themselves up on their hind legs and tails.

The fight breaks out as the marsupials lash into each other with powerful kicks and whacks, the epic confrontation looking like scuffling dance.

People gather to watch the confrontation, which was taking place in a petting enclosure where the kangaroos roam freely among the grounds.

Two keepers try to intervene as the roos launch thrusting kicks at each other.

One keeper uses a broom to push the pair apart while another keeper grabs the tail of the smaller aggressor, and pulls him backwards.

When the pair finally separate they return to their more placid looking crouch and hop along with their day.
