Chinese toddler uses steel pipe to defend grandma

A Chinese toddler who brandished a steel pipe to defend his grandmother after she was set on by council rangers has become something of an internet hero.

China's urban management force had allegedly been harassing the toddler's grandma over her illegal street vendor stand when the young boy picked up a pipe and began threatening staff and onlookers.

"Don’t touch my grandma. Go away, don’t touch my grandma," the boy can be heard shouting as he brandishes the weapon.

As a crowd of onlookers begins to gather, several members of the public attempt to calm him down unsuccessfully.

The 37-second video taken on April 14 has already garnered almost two-million views, with most users supporting the youngster's actions.
