Extraordinary footage of road collapse

Security footage has captured the terrifying moment a road collapses in China

The 50-metre section of road located in the Sichuan Province can be seen falling apart, pulling retaining walls and surrounding trees into the void as well.

There were no reported injuries and it is not believed any vehicles were near the road at the time of the incident.

An investigation has now been launched by local authorities to determine why the collapse happened.
