Child falls two floors after escalator accident

A child has slipped out of her aunt's hand and plummeted two floors after falling over the side of an escalator in Russia.
Video of the incident shows five-year-old girl Linara playing by the escalator in a shopping centre in Novy Urengoy while her aunt stands a metre away talking on her phone.
The escalator belt suddenly pulls the girl forward, causing the woman to forget her phone call and desperately grab her as she starts moving up and over the side.

But the child loses her grip, disappearing out of sight and falling two floors.
The woman reportedly fainted afterwards.
The girl suffered only minor cuts and bruises and is expected to make a full recovery.
