Seemingly scorned lover spray-paints luxury car with 'cheater' for all of London to see

Luxury cars usually go unnoticed in the swanky streets surrounding London’s famous Harrods department store, but one $145,000 Range Rover turned heads yesterday.

The stark white 4WD drew a crowd on Knightsbridge’s Basil Street thanks to the handy work of a seemingly scorned lover – the words “cheater”, “it’s over” and “hope she was worth it” spray painted across the car in red.

The car’s apparent owner was later seen driving off without saying anything – but was issued with a $250 fine for a parking infringement.

“There was probably about 50 people around taking pictures,” one onlooker told the Daily Mail.

“It was literally right outside Harrods – you couldn’t get closer. I definitely haven’t seen anything quite like this before.”

Twitter user Klo, who posted photos of the car online, said no one tried to stop the woman as she took to the car with a can of spray paint.

“I have no idea who she was – she was just going crazy.

“No one tried to stop her. She just left afterwards,” she said.
