Cars crushed by falling Mexican billboard

A massive roadside billboard has collapsed onto a busy Mexican street crushing two cars in its path.

Footage of the incident taken yesterday in southern Mexico shows the giant structure begin to sway and bend in the wind.

The sound of twisting metal and screams fill the streets as the billboard loses its structural integrity and begins to hurtle onto the street below.

Two car are flattened by the falling sign as surrounding traffic grinds to a halt.

Hoyestado reports all five passengers travelling in the vehicles remarkably survived with only minor injuries.
