Canberra man kicks, punches car at intersection

Canberra police are searching for an enraged driver who was filmed kicking and punching another motorist's car at an intersection.

The incident happened on Kingsford Smith Drive in Belconnen on Friday, the Canberra Times reports.

The man, who has not been named, slows at a red light before getting out of his car and yelling at the driver in front of him.

He then punches the driver's window and tries to open it, before kicking the side of the car.

He rudely gestures at the driver before returning to his car in time for the light to turn green.

It is not known what sparked the confrontation.

Canberra police said they had received a complaint about the incident and are currently investigating.
