Camel bites baby boy on the head at circus in France

A four-month-old baby was bitten on his head by a circus camel in France in an unusual attack on the weekend, according to a local newspaper.

The incident happened as the baby and his mother visited the circus in the south-eastern town of Megeve.

News Corp reported that the mother was carrying her young son in a front sling while looking in its enclosure when the camel bit the baby on the head.

“We weren’t feeding it or stroking it,” the mother told the local Dauphine Libere newspaper.

She said the bottom lip of the camel clamped on to her son’s forehead.

The mother told the newspaper that he had sustained “multiple fractures” but should recover from the attack.

Police rushed to the scene and called emergency services when they heard the mother scream.
