Break and enter suspect dubbed 'world's hottest criminal'

A young Canadian woman accused of 42 break-ins is also stealing hearts as a bikini photo of her circulates the internet and has led to her to being dubbed the "world's hottest criminal".

Stephanie Beaudoin appeared in a Quebec courtroom on Monday to face six new charges of breaking and entering and receiving stolen property, Journal de Montreal reports.

The charges are on top of 108 counts filed against the 21-year-old in August.

Beaudoin allegedly committed a string of break-ins with three accomplices aged 13, 15 and 17.

However, the nursing student is attracting a lot more media interest than most alleged thieves after a photo of her wearing a bikini was found online.

The image was quickly circulated on social media where Beaudoin was dubbed the "world's hottest criminal".

"Stephanie Beadoin can steal my heart any day," one internet user commented.

The 21-year-old is scheduled to reappear in court on November 17.

The case has drawn comparisons to a US man named Jeremy Meeks, whose mugshot went viral in June thanks to his piercing blue eyes and chiselled jawline.
