Brazilians deliver hilarious justice to able-bodied driver in disabled parking spot

When a driver in Brazil parked illegally in a disabled spot the people's justice was swift, thorough and hilarious.

Underneath a pile of blue stickers was the car belonging to the guilty, able-bodied driver.

Roof, bonnet and boot, bumpers, doors, windows and tyres were all plastered in blue tickets by the crowd who gathered and waited to deliver the dose of light-hearted justice to the driver.

The only thing that wasn't blue were the white disabled symbols that adorned the back and side panels.

The plastering was so comprehensive even a parking inspector was at a loss when he tried to locate the vehicle's registration plates.

In the video posted to YouTube yesterday, when the driver returned to his car he was met with jeers and cheers as he struggled to wipe his windscreen of the taint.

When he finally drove off with a skid, he left a blue trail of guilt behind him.

It's not clear why someone had so many blue Post-it notes on them, but according to the website Springwise residents of the city of Sao Paulo are empowered to issue disability awareness parking tickets to naughty drivers using the wrong parking spots.

Those stickers, however, are yellow.
