Boxer dog and emu chase each other around a tree

A rambunctious boxer dog and a playful emu have delighted animal enthusiasts on the internet by chasing each other around a tree, seemingly endlessly, in a video that has gone viral.

The canine’s owner, Amanda, uploaded the video to YouTube on September 26 with the caption, “This seems to be their new thing. I wish I had their energy.”

As Daisy the dog and the emu go round and round, the gangly bird almost stacked it on several occasions.

Amanda could be heard saying, “What a silly dog. What a silly bird,” as she stood nearby filming, before the sound of Daisy’s panting could be heard.
