Blind mother-to-be given opportunity to feel her ultrasound

A blind pregnant woman has been given the rare chance to “feel” an ultrasound of her unborn son thanks to 3D-printing technology.

Huggies Brazil teamed up with 3D-printing company The Goodfellas to gift 30-year-old Tatiana Guerra with the rendering of her ultrasound.

In the clip, Tatiana asks her doctor what her son looks like, wondering whether he has a “little potato nose” or “chubby little fingers”.

The doctor then asks, “If you could touch him, would that let you know what’s like?”

He then surprises her with the 3D sculpture of her child.

The 30-year-old mother was 20 weeks pregnant during the time of the exam. She lost her sight at the age of 17.
