BBC news anchor has hilarious fail on live television

After recovering from their last on-air fail, the BBC has found itself at the centre of another live television gaffe during a weekend news bulletin.

In footage that has gone viral, BBC News anchor Tom Donkin is seen getting lost on set before attempting to update viewers on the situation with Hurricane Irma.

Donkin is out of position when cameras start rolling, forcing him to walk across the stage and out of frame.

After what feels like an eternity, the host finally comes back into frame to deliver the news - but now he is looking at the wrong camera.

Calmly and collectively, Donkin eventually finds his spot and manages to deliver his update.

The BBC's latest live television fail comes after another hilarious incident in March, when a South Korea expert was being interviewed.

During the interview, guest Robert E Kelly is interrupted by his daughter dancing into the room before she is joined by her younger sibling in a walker.

While Kelly manages to keep as straight a face as possible, his wife rushes into the room to quickly escort the children out of the room.
