Lightning strikes kill 17 wedding guests in Bangladesh
At least 17 wedding guests have been killed after being hit by several bolts of lightning in Bangladesh.
The bride and groom also sustained injuries, along with 14 others.
The BCC reports the bride was not with the wedding party when she was injured.

Lightning strikes are common during the region's monsoon season, which runs from June to September.
More than 2900 people were killed by lightning in neighbouring India in 2019, according to the most recent official figures available.
In July, 11 people died after being struck by lightning near a watchtower at the 12th century Amber Fort, in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, police said.
