Baby filmed pacing high-rise window ledge

Shocking footage has emerged of a baby walking up and down on the window ledge of a high-rise apartment building in India.

The unidentified child comes perilously close to plummeting to the ground below as he paces back and forth along the building's edge nine storeys up.

He appears to be alone and is seen returning inside the apartment several times, only to emerge again moments later.

With each appearance, the child teeters closer to the edge and can be seen pointing as if he recognises something below.

At one point he even dangles his feet over the ledge, leaving onlookers who filmed the boy in shock.
