An Aussie schoolboy from Bankstown who ran away to join ISIL has reportedly married a British teen who also fled to Syria.

Abdullah Elmir, 18, recently sent an online message to The Mail on Sunday to confirm his marriage to 16-year-old Londoner Amira Abase, the newspaper reports.

Abase was only 15-years-old when she left England earlier this year with two school friends to join ISIL.

Known as the “Ginger Jihadist”, Elmir has become a key face of ISIL propaganda since his left Australia last year for Syria.

He has appeared in at least two propaganda videos since joining the terrorist organisation delivering threatening messages to Prime Minister Tony Abbott.

In his latest message, Elmir reportedly bragged about his connections in Britain and sent warnings which suggested ISIL planned to launch attacks against the UK.

“Brothers that I know there…are itching to do an attack,” he wrote.

“This is a direct threat.”

Elmir’s message was in response to an undercover reporter making contact with Ms Abase.

Ms Abase tried to lure the reporter – who posed as a fellow London teen - into travelling to Syria to also become a jihadi bride.

In his message, Elmir also reportedly demanded that Abase not be contacted again.

Elmir also praised the actions of Seifeddine Rezgui, who massacred 38 people in an horrific beach shooting in Tunisia last month.

“On the Tunisia attacks, may Allah bless the man who slaughtered those filthy kuffar (infidels),” he wrote.
