Concerns raised after Angela Merkel trembles during public ceremony
Concerns have been raised about German Chancellor Angela Merkel's health, after her body was seen shaking as she welcomed new Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Germany.
Cameras captured the 64-year-old’s legs and body begin to tremble while she waited with Zelensky for the German Armed Forces' honour formation to pass.
When she then walked the formation with the president, the trembling had visibly subsided.

At a later press conference Merkel said she had drunk three glasses of water in the meantime, suggesting she was dehydrated.
As everyone could see, she was feeling very well again, the chancellor added.
Zelensky, who was standing next to Merkel during the incident, said: "She was completely safe."
The chancellor has been seen trembling on similar occasions before - at that time the reason given had also been that Merkel had not drunk enough water during hot weather.
