99-year-old California woman uses shopping spree to buy gifts for kids in need

A 99-year-old California woman with a heart of gold has used a shopping spree she won to make sure kids in need received Christmas presents this year.

Donna Goldstein was in a 99 Cents Only store in Beverly Grove when she was told she won the shopping spree.

“I’m going to cry I’m so happy,” she said, according to KTLA 5.

But the almost-centenarian decided to make others happy too, by using the spree to create Christmas stockings for underprivileged kids in her community.

“I feel bad that I can’t do it for everyone, but it makes me feel very good that I am able to do what I can,” she said.
