UK woman tries to solve Rubik's Cube as she drives

A Rubik's Cube is meant to be an intelligence test, but one user has exposed her own idiocy by trying to solve one as she drove.

Macauley Stephens, 21, filmed the woman using both hands to solve the puzzle on the M61 in England's north, the Manchester Evening News reports.

"How she could concentrate while driving on a busy motorway at peak time beggars belief," he was quoted as saying.

"She saw me looking at her - as you can see in the clip - and she wasn’t even affected at all. She just carried on for several more miles doing the puzzle."

Mr Stephens sent the video to Manchester Police but is yet to hear back.

Invented in 1974 by a Hungarian architect, the Rubik's Cube became a global sensation in the early 1980s.

US teenager Lucas Etter currently holds the record for the fastest Rubik's Cube solve, managing the feat in just 4.9 seconds.
