Rick Petersen
Rick Petersen has channeled a lifetime of experience into helping others embrace the outdoors and immerse themselves in the skills of survival and bushcraft. Having grown up moving around foster care homes, Rick found his calm in nature and his discipline in the military.
He is a former SAS soldier who has operated in the most extreme environments, as well as having worked with Indigenous cultures to understand the nuances of the land. Now Rick runs Men of Change Australia, a program dedicated to helping fathers and sons build stronger connections.

Rick also runs Southern Exposure Survival, which offers bush immersion weekends and workshops on survival and bushcraft. He resides on the Sunshine Coast, where he conducts seminars on raising boys and survival skills, drawing on his extensive experience.
