Alex had a somewhat interesting childhood, growing up above his parents restaurant on Caxton street.
"Rags" as it was called, was a fine dining experience where Alex watched diners enjoy exotic foods like caviar and smoked salmon from his bedroom window.
Alex knew from a young age he was destined to pursue a career in the food industry, but his key was to pay attention to the quality of the food, rather than to simply serve it.

Today, he's not only the owner of one of the most highly regarded cafes, but roasts his own coffee in search of knowing how to serve the best wake up call of all.
