Bart Hassam the World Cup Champion in Floral Design honed his incredible talent and skill from very humble beginnings. Losing his mum at the age of two, Bart Hassam was brought up by his grandparents. His grandma was passionate about plants and florals and as a result, Bart became hooked.
She guided him into floral competitions from age 12. After school Bart spent 10 years going between Brisbane and Japan, where he worked for Japanese Flora Designer Yoko Takahashi. This is where Bart's competitive floral designing was challenged and as a result, flourished. After winning a World Cup in 2019, the biggest competition for all florist designers, Bart is back in Brisbane running his three florist stores.
