Ashbern Farms
In the heart of Stanthorpe in Queensland's Southern Downs region, Brendon and Ashleigh Hoyle alongside their fellow co-owners Jon and Bernie Carmichael are encouraging people to have a berry good time all year around with their range of fresh strawberry varieties. Since opening Ashbern Farms in 2008, the husband-and-wife duo have been giving locals and tourists the opportunity to see a working strawberry farm, picking their own from the patch at their Stanthorpe farm.
With a mission to provide the best strawberry eating experience possible, by focussing on the best varieties with great quality and sweetness, the couples have cemented themselves as a must-see attraction in the region. During 2021, Stanthorpe played host to the first annual Strawberry Festival, with Ashbern Farms welcoming guests to their Strawberry Field across the event.
