'Never claimed to be a natural beauty': MAFS' Tori Adams hits back at cosmetic surgery critics after posting a selfie
Married At First Sight's Tori Adams has responded to criticism she received over her appearance after posting a selfie online.
Tori said she had contemplated just ignoring it, but after the loud response to her latest post – which showed her pouting in a double-denim look – she decided to hit back.

"I've never received so many messages, so many DMs, about something before," the 28-year-old said in a series of Instagram Stories.
"On my latest post there is a lot of talk about, 'What have you done to your face? You used to be so naturally beautiful. It's such a shame. You look so different. What have you done? You were such a role model to younger women who hadn't had any work and really normalising that, you know, natural is, is where it's at,'" Tori continued.

She said she had made no secret of the fact that she'd had cosmetic work like lip fillers and anti-wrinkle injections done.
"I never claimed to be a 'natural beauty'... I used to get it before MAFS, as soon as I came off MAFS I went and got everything freshened up and recently when I was in Melbourne I got freshened up again," Tori said.

She said people were making false claims, like that she had 'too much' filler in her cheeks when she in fact had none. Tori said people were also neglecting that she had a "face full of makeup", good lighting and a pout in the photo being critiqued.
"You need to keep in mind that I also do have a skincare routine. The Botox absolutely assists, but there are a lot of other factors," she said.

Tori ended her response with a selfie, saying the "moral of the story is... spread kindness".
"Now me and my naturally plump cheeks are off to enjoy having a king bed to ourselves!" she wrote, as boyfriend Jack was away for the night.

Where the MAFS Season 11 stars are now
Tori and Jack recently marked one-year since they met and tied the knot on MAFS.
The pair were by far the most controversial couple of Season 11, but in the end none of it mattered as Tori moved to Jack's hometown of the Gold Coast where they now live together.
In July 2024, Tori took to Instagram to share it had been one year since they first laid eyes on each other on MAFS.

"A year ago today, I was getting ready for my hens only a few days out from meeting @jack_dunkley," the former bride captioned her throwback mirror selfie.
"I had no idea what I was in for and no idea who I'd be walking down the aisle too," she continued.
"I'd given the experts a LIST of what I wanted and boy did they deliver."
