MAFS' Cam Merchant shares amusing update after first weeks with baby Oliver
New dad Cameron Merchant has updated his Instagram followers on just what the first weeks of having a newborn have been like for him, and while the experience may not be rubbish, there's certainly still plenty piling up!
The former MAFS star, who welcomed baby Oliver into the world with wife Jules Robinson on September 29, shared a picture to social media of himself taking out the trash, asking whether it was "normal" for a newborn to generate so much waste.

"Can someone please deny or confirm... This is normal for the 1st week please?" he captioned the photo with him looking a little worried.

"If this is the case... Looks like we have quite the regular child on our hands... & for the record, improving everyday at the nappy change!" he added, hinting that the couple is slowly becoming accustomed to life with a new baby.
That's not the only picture that Cam's been taking to document their first month with little Oliver, as Jules has also uploaded yet another sneaky sleeping photo captured by the new dad.
Throughout their relationship, Jules and Cam have had a habit of posting 'unflattering' photos of the other while they are sleeping, and it appears as though parenthood has not put a halt to that.

The only thing that's changed, it seems, is that Jules appears to be far more appreciative of the moments they serve to commemorate.
"Not even 24hrs in and he was [at] it," Jules captioned a photo that Cam took while she was sleeping alongside Oliver.
"To be fair... I don't mind this one haha," she added, clearly glad that the sweet moment was caught on camera by her husband.

In an interview with Who, Jules revealed baby Oliver was born at Sydney's Northern Beaches Hospital at 12.19am. He was born on Tuesday, September 29, and shares the same birthday as her father. He weighed 2.85kg and was 52cm tall.
Jules, 38, delivered Oliver via natural birth and her labour lasted four hours.
