What’s included in Economy Lite?
For those who are budget conscious – or love to travel with hand luggage only – then Economy Lite will best suit you.
It’s the best fare for a spontaneous weekend away or 24-hour work trip, and you can easily add on extras like baggage and pay for extra legroom should you need it.
Economy Lite fares are often discounted during specific flash sales, happy hours and seasonal promotions. Otherwise, you can book this fare type as a standard booking option for any of Virgin Australia’s flights.
What’s included in Economy Choice?
If you’re a regular traveller, you’ve probably already flown on an Economy Choice fare. It’s a go-to for those who like to choose their seat and bring along checked baggage, usually up to 23kg for domestic flights.
Great for group bookings, you can choose to seat yourself next to your friends and family, with one overhead bag and a checked-in suitcase per person.
Keep your eyes peeled for Virgin Australia’s sales because when Choice Fares are discounted, you’ll still keep all the fare benefits.
What’s included in Economy Flex?
When booking a holiday a year in advance, it pays to have plenty of flexibility, and that’s exactly what Economy Flex fares guarantee.
From changing flights before departure to cancelling for a travel credit, you can book with peace of mind with this fare.
While this ticket type is more expensive than others, it’s enticing for Virgin Velocity members, who can earn significantly more points every time they fly on a Flex fare.
What’s included in Business fares?
It comes as no surprise that Business fares include all the bells and whistles. From lounge access to onboard refreshments, it’s a go-to for frequent flyers and those hitting splurge on a holiday.
