Woman wins Twitter with simple but totally genius travel hack

Bradley Johnston

Ever have those moments when you discover something new and suddenly realise you've been doing life wrong for your entire existence?

That's what happened to literally all of us when Twitter user Sasha dropped her incredibly simple, yet wildly genius travel hack.

"Am I the only person who takes an extension lead on holiday instead of taking a dozen plug adaptors?" she Tweeted.

Travel adaptors can be exxy, and when you consider how many devices and appliances need electricity while travelling abroad, it can be incredibly annoying constantly plugging and unplugging your gear.

Since being posted last week, the Tweet has racked up more than 1000 retweets, almost 10,000 likes and 500 comments – mostly praising Sasha for being a straight-up prodigy.

One commenter is convinced she's from the future, who presumably travelled back in time to share her infinite wisdom.

This Twitter user claims it's the smartest thing they've seen all day.

One commenter questioned the safeness of overloading an extension cord.

Others claimed it wasn't exactly news to them.

So, next time you're on holidays and your mate starts complaining because they're phones about to die and they're adaptor-less, you can slickly whip out your extension cord and save the day.
