Being a nanny to someone else’s children can be a demanding job. However, these nannies working overseas lead lifestyles so glamourous, you could easily mistake their Instagram feeds for a travel blogger's.

Gone are the days of being housebound and simply taking trips to the park. Documenting their adventures on social media, au pairs and nannies living all over the world are showcasing the perks of their job, which include jet setting to some of the world’s most luxurious locations.

Whether it be lounging by the ocean in Santorini, sightseeing in New York, experiencing the wilderness of Colorado and even flying on private jets to the Bahamas, these nannies redefine what it means to go on a working holiday.

Despite working a 60 hours or more per week, nannies are often treated like a member of the family and will be paid to travel first class, stay in 5-star hotels and participate in whatever fun activities are planned.

Each year more and more young Australians are ditching the usual route of study to spend a year overseas caring for other people’s children, and with photos like these, it's easy to understand why.
