In Finland you can now sing for a free taxi ride

Start warming up those vocal cords because the world's first rideshare to let passengers pay for their trip in song is set to make its debut in Finland in early July.

If their promotional video is anything to go off, you don't even have to carry a tune to nab a free rise — check it out in the clip above.

Fortum Singalong Shuttle will launch during Ruisrock festival, as part of a campaign led by clean-energy company Fortum to encourage festival-goers to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle.

Naturally, the taxi shuttle rides themselves are emissions-free electric cars.

The popular rock music festival takes place annually on the picturesque island of Ruissalo in Turku, Finland — this year it runs over the weekend of July 6-8.

As with all too-good-to-be-true things, there's a catch — the special 'sing for your fare' offer will only span the three days of the festival.

"With Singalong Shuttle we want to show people in a joyful way how comfortable and easy it is to drive an electric car," says Fortum's brand manager Jussi Mälkiä.

"The silent electric cars make it possible to enjoy singing without background noise and emissions."

Ruisrock is actually Europe's second oldest music festival.
