Couple condenses their six-month Asian holiday into two mesmerising minutes

Asia has so much to offer than many travellers struggle to see it all in a lifetime, but one Swiss couple have conveniently condensed six months of highlights into a single, two-minute video.

Sylvain Botter and Jenny Gehrig quit their jobs to travel the world, sharing their uniquely styled video diaries on their YouTube channel and website.

The video, titled "Share your dream", shows snapshots of the couples' time in nine Asian countries, including China, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Laos.

Both have a background in tourism, and met while studying at a Swiss tourism school.

"We absolutely loved China, the natural landscapes are amazing, the food is diverse and delicious," the pair told Elsewhere.

"It was really an immersive experience [as] there are only a few western tourists there, so it gives a feeling of exclusivity."

Having wrapped up their travels in Asia (for now), Botter and Gherig have moved onto Europe, where they're enjoying the local cuisine on offer, and hope to launch an English YouTube channel to educate prospective travellers to their home country.

The Asian hyperlapse video has been viewed more than 24,000 times since it was posted on January 29.
