Tuesday Travel Tip: Sophie Monk's packing trick is the definition of laziness

After months of hype, Sophie Monk has finally touched down in gorgeous Mallorca, Spain for her new fun-in-the-sun hosting gig for Love Island Australia.

And while it's true what they say about the jet-setting life of folks in the entertainment biz, the former Bachelorette, 38, admits it's her first visit to the nation. 

"I've got a house, and I'm never home. There's two suitcases I live out of. And I've travelled to most places, but I've never been to Spain," Sophie told 9Honey Travel.

While the hilarious host gets properly acquainted with her new Spanish digs (take a quick tour with Soph in the clip above), we thought we'd hit her up for some of her hottest travel tips.

The one thing I never travel without is… My handbag. When I lift it, it's so heavy. I carry all my make-up, deodorant, perfume – you name it, it's in there. Because I travel so often, as well.

The next place I want to holiday is… The Maldives. I feel like that's a bucket-list holiday for me.

My cure for jet lag is… I honestly just sleep. But if you're on a holiday, it doesn't matter what time zone you're on.

My best packing tip is… I just throw things in because I travel so much, but I'll take a spare suitcase. So you don't have to fold.  You can buy stuff while you're overseas.

My best post-flight beauty tip is… I try not eat too much crap on the plane, because I've done that before and you get off and feel, like, almost hungover. So I try to just eat light, if not take my own food.
