Hello, it's me: Clever pilot writes a cheery message with the help of a flight radar

When you're dying to reach your destination – be it home or a long-awaited holiday – airplane holding patterns can be painful. But one clever pilot has made the most of the situation, writing a cheery message for fans following their route on an online flight radar.

The message, which reads "Hello", was captured by FlightRadar24 – a digital channel that allows aviation enthusiasts to track the process of flights all over the globe – as the plane circled over London.

Taking just 37 minutes to complete, the masterful creation by privately owned D-EFHN appeared on December 2.

It's not the first time creative pilots have taken to the skies to share their artistic endeavours: In a blog post from March, FlightRadar24 shared instances of pilots drawing planes, flowers, and even signing their name.
