Photographer given ultimate seat upgrade on flight

A photographer travelling to a wedding in regional Norway has experienced the ultimate seat upgrade.

Aurora Torres, from Norway, had arrived for her Widerøe airlines flight to Røros, in central Norway, when she was told she was the sole passenger on board.

As Torres sat in her assigned seat, she took out her camera and started filming.

She said halfway through the trip, the flight attendant asked if she'd like to change seats — to the front of the plane.

"I could not believe what was happening," she told In The Know.

"Of course, without any hesitation, I had to say yes. I brought my camera and suddenly sat between the pilots, with a panoramic view and a headset on my head."

In video posted to Torres' TikTok account, she can be seen sitting behind the two pilots on the flight.

"10/10 experience. My new favourite airline." she captioned the video.

Torres's video as been viewed more than 24 million times.

Of the more than 15,000 comments, the majority were just in awe of her luck.

"Private jet moment," wrote one TikTok follower.

"You're living the best life, omg," wrote another.

"Remember me when it's viral," another wrote.

Some also questioned why a plane with one passenger would still fly.

"They fly with one passenger? I thought they would cancel the flight or (something)," another wrote.

"Flying an aircraft across thousands of miles for 1 person and people still think running the tap too long is what's harming the environment," yet another wrote.

It would not be the first time Torres experienced a "private jet moment". She said the airline saw her video and took up on another solo flight.

When asked how someone might be able to score a similar experience, Torres offered some simple advice.

“Be nice to the staff, and you might be lucky," she wrote.
