Passenger secretly films woman's stomach-churning plane pedi

A woman has been passenger shamed after treating herself to a pedicure mid-flight.

The footage, which shows an unidentified woman filing her foot while sitting next to another passenger in a row of two, elicited reactions of disgust from social media users after being shared to the Instagram account 'Passenger Shaming'.

The stomach-churning video, captioned "pedicures on planes! #happymonday #deadflyingskiforthewin", has been viewed more than 139,000 times in just three days, with many taking to the comments section to air their disapproval.

"Dammnnn- have a little decency and quit acting like an animal- some things are meant to only happen at home or the salon- didn’t your mama teach you any manners!" wrote one Instagram user.

"How did he not elbow her in the face?" wrote another of the unlucky passenger seated next to her.

The viral news item also captured the attention of the Today Extra team, who agreed the woman's passenger etiquette left something to be desired.

"That's just going to be in the carpet, floating around in the atmosphere," Sonia Kruger said.

"People are always their worst kind of person on a flight," fellow presenter Davina Smith said.
