The best places to stay in NSW for 2025 have been announced
Whether you want a five-star hotel, a beachfront campsite, or a glass-walled retreat in the highlands, NSW has you covered.
The state's best accommodation offerings were celebrated at the 2025 NSW Tourism Awards, with gold, silver, and bronze awards handed out at a ceremony in Sydney last night.
Some old favourites and new hidden gems were named amongst the winners.

A caravan park on the south coast, Tathra Beach Eco Camp, was awarded the gold prize for best holiday park.
Nestled in beautiful bushland adjacent to Tathra Beach - three hours south of Canberra - the park offers campsites, caravan spaces, cabins and glamping.
Ingenia Holidays Nambucca Heads came in second place, while Holiday Haven Lake Tabourie got the bronze.
Mt Hay Retreat in Berry was crowned gold for the best 5-star Luxury Accommodation in the state, for the second year in a row.
Terrigal's Crowne Plaza, meanwhile, took out the top spot in the 4-4.5 Star Accommodation category.

The awards also recognised other styles of accommodation with awards for hosted stays, self-contained options and unique properties.
The Belfry Guesthouse, a boutique offering in Bellingen, was awarded the best hosted stay, while Contained in Nimbin Accommodation won for best self-contained.
Mudgee's Sierra Escape, a luxury glamping property, was crowned gold for Unique Accommodation, for the second year in a row.
Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo was awarded silver, and Wilga Station in Bathurst won bronze.

Category winners from the NSW Tourism Awards will now represent the state at the Australian Tourism Awards.
"Across the state, individuals, families and businesses are pouring their heart and soul into creating unforgettable experiences for visitors, and that's what is shining through in these awards," NSW Tourism Association CEO Natalie Godward said.
"At its heart, these awards are about celebrating our people – the faces and stories behind our tourism experiences – and the pride they bring to New South Wales."
