Man's disgusting act in hotel room called out: 'Unhinged'
In general, travellers love a good hotel hack – like using the coat hanger clips to hold your curtains together, or mentioning the word "honeymoon" to maybe snag a room upgrade.
But sometimes, an idea isn't well received at all. And one man seemingly cooking raw chicken inside a hotel kettle has been called out online.
In the LinkedIn post, a keen money saver revealed he'd stuffed a chicken breast alongside butter and garlic in the coffee machine.

"I'm travelling for work and instead of eating a fancy dinner out, I've decided to cook a cheaper meal in the hotel room," the worker wrote.
"Even though the hotel room didn't have a kitchen, I managed to use the coffee machine to cook chicken with butter and garlic.
"Although my company allows me to expense dinner while travelling, I wanted to save money because I know that every dollar counts.
"It's the little things that get you promoted."
The image was quickly picked up and shared on Twitter by user Emily, who wrote alongside the post: "LinkedIn really flies under the radar as the social media platform that's absolutely the most unhinged."
The photo has since been retweeted almost 26,000 times, with plenty of people stunned by the gross act.

"I am fairly certain for the amount he spend on these ingredients he could have just bought himself a hot dog or two and reduced his chance of food poisoning from 100 per cent to 50 per cent," one person wrote.
"Can we normalise not ever doing that, and not justifying that it is being done to get a raise???!" another said.
Meanwhile, another hotel worker warned "more people do it than you'd think".
Thankfully, it seems as though the 'chicken hack' may be a joke about using the hotel's coffee maker, with one person explaining: "Alex does this to make fun of grindset hustle whatever weirdo corporate people on LinkedIn. He's brilliant."
Guess that takes away his risk of getting food poisoning, but it doesn't eliminate the fact there was raw chicken placed inside the kettle.
