Man's brutal airport sign for unfaithful partner divides the internet

Katherine Scott

A man has gotten back at a cheating partner in the most cringe-worthy way — by greeting them at the airport with a giant sign announcing their infidelity.

The internet is divided over the savage shaming act.

The unidentified man was captured waiting the arrivals area of Melbourne airport holding up a sign that read: "I know you cheated" in capital letters. Yikes.

Melbourne-based Twitter user Krystal (@KrystaalA) shared a photo of the man holding up the sign to Twitter on January 23, along with the caption: "At Melbourne airport today [crying laughter emoji] he was waiting to greet his cheating partner... I AM DECEASED"

The post has since been 'liked' more than 75,000 times, as well as racking up more than 400 comments.

The final stoush between the couple wasn't shared to Twitter, but that didn't stop users from speculating on the final outcome between the ill-fated duo.

However, many users have spoken out against the act of revenge, condemning the man's actions and labelling them 'petty'.

Other folks in the Twittersphere took issue with the man's attire, blaming an un-ironed shirt and casual footwear as the reason behind his partner's infidelity.

There's still no update on the fate of the couple or the events that led to the awkward measures, though we suspect it might be the final homecoming for this pair.
