A wall covered in 1100 kg of chewed gum becomes unlikely tourist spot in Seattle

The world is spotted with bizarre tourist attraction but this wall covered in chewing gum in Seattle is perhaps one of the oddest.

Found in a back lane of Pike Place Market in the US city, it's been attracting visitors who not only visit the disgusting mass of chewed gum but also contribute to it.

Currently, there's around 1100 kg of sticky gum squashed onto the wall. To put that into perspective, that's the weight of hippo…or about fifteen humans. Pretty gross.

In 2015, the local council tried to put an end of gum wall by jetting it all off. Less than 24-hours later, it was getting a fresh coating.
